Educating children is greatly important in each country or every cultures. Sometimes, they are taught that they can reach any goal if they try hard enough. In this essay, I will discuss about pros and cons of this message when educating kids.

On the one hand, we could not deny several advantages of the message bringing to our lives. Firstly, it provides a great source of mental motivation for kids. It’s drawing a picture where they can get a higher goal as long as they are always hard working and trying their best. As we can see, a lot of Idols, athletes, or gymers… who are doing their best, also practicing constantly, day by day, succeeded in their majors. They are excellent samples for the youth to follow and learn. Secondly, raising kids with the message, we can educate our young generation become more laborious and have a good mindset. By pushing them, to learn more, to try more, they could get more knowledge and skills which are necessary for developing country.

On the other hand, there are some disadvantages when the kids are told that they can get anything if they try more and more. First of all, it could mislead them to directions which are not suitable with their abilities. Besides, if adults or parents do not follow and instruct them to set goals that are proper with their kids. Besides children can fail anytime, so they will be disappointed and stressful if they do their best but still not succeed. For example, in my country, a singer named Chi Pu, she was confident to pronounce that she was a singer and practiced so hard to prove her ability. In my opinion and most of Vietnamese audiences’ views, she could dance pretty well, but her voice is not good as she thought. After posting her first video music public, she received a lot of negative comments that made her distress and lost with her directions.

In conclusion, educating the kids that they can get any destination if they do their best, is bringing out both advantages and disadvantages. So that, parents, educators should follow and instruct them to set a goal that’s suitable with their kids’ abilities.
